NACHC Compliance Training

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act grants new authority to enforcement agencies, increases potential financial penalties, and establishes new government audit programs. Now, for the first time, compliance programs will also become mandatory conditions of enrollment for all providers in Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIP.

The NACHC Corporate Compliance Training has been specifically designed to assist health centers in implementing appropriate corporate compliance that focus on their highest risk areas.

The training is presented by attorneys from Feldesman Tucker Leifer Fidell LLP, who developed the curriculum with financial support from the National Association of Community Health Centers.

Intended Audience: Health center CEOs, COOs, CFOs, CMOs, Compliance Officers, QA Directors, Site Directors

What’s New?

This new round of compliance training will offer updates on the financial, clinical and regulatory risk areas affecting health centers and will offer guidance on how health center compliance programs can take action to address these risk areas.

The training program has two sessions:

Corporate Compliance 101:
Describes the evolution of corporate compliance programs and strategies for implementing effective compliance programs.

Corporate Compliance 201:
Identifies emerging enforcement trends;
Explores high risk areas, addressing Medicare and Medicaid billing, potential gaps in coverage under the FTCA and preparing for HRSA site visit reviews.

Participants will have the option of registering for only Corporate Compliance 201 or for both sessions. First-time attendees should attend both Compliance 101 and 201 sessions.
